About Me

My name is Rebecca Sheriff – summer camp enthusiast, equestrian, avid coffee drinker, writer, traveler, event planner, and Christ-follower – currently calling central Colorado home.

I’ve been making my way across the country working and serving at various Christian summer camps and conference centers – all in the pursuit of finding a camp to call my own someday. Camp Allegheny, Deer Valley Ranch, and Spring Canyon have all contributed to where I’m at today as a summer camp professional.

I have a degree in Resort, Recreation, and Hospitality Management from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, where I also studied leadership, environmental sustainability, and tourism. I currently work as the Front Office Manager at Spring Canyon, with my ultimate career goal being the director of a Christian summer camp that has an equestrian-focused ministry program.

I also work as an event coordinator for The Loft Theater at Buena Vista, creating spaces for people to enjoy events with their friends and family on some of the biggest days of their lives. By the grace of God I’m able to balance these jobs with my passions for horses, reading, astronomy, marine biology, and wilderness medicine.

This website primarily serves as my personal blog, although exciting new projects that I’m working on are coming soon!
